About Clinique
Clinique was launched in 1968 by the Estée Lauder Companies as a dermatologist-guided beauty brand, giving it a clean, functional identity distinct from traditional fashion houses. Fragrance soon became part of that world, and the uplifting Happy family, introduced in the late 1990s, became one of Clinique’s most familiar scent signatures. Happy for men and women and Happy Heart use citrus, florals and fresh aromatics to create bright, uncomplicated compositions. Their appeal reflects Clinique itself: optimistic, approachable and deliberately less ornate than classical luxury perfume.
