4711 a pleasure to own

I was so trilled to get the 4711 eau de cologne, now its the first time i've experienced this scent, but just owning this fragrance is nostalgia..imagining just the history of this fragrance and the year it was launched 1792, gives one an essence of what the scent may have garnered in terms of being a miracle water that was consumed to now it being a fragrance that has grown to be the oldest Eau de Cologne perhaps that is still a favorite among men and women. I'm hoping what i experienced is near to the original. The citrus aromatic fragrance is so perfect for the summer. I look forward to visit the original 4711 store in Cologne that remains a pilgrimage site for fragrance lovers.
